Metsatöll and the Police and Border Guard Orchestra 19.08.2019

On 19 August at 9pm, two ancient forms of music will meet at Maarjamäe – folk music and brass-wind instruments – Metsatöll and the Police and Border Guard Orchestra.

These music styles may seem like opposites at first, yet both of them are intrinsic to and ingrained in Estonia. In separate performances as well as a combined grand finale, these two music styles herald the future and the past from the slopes of Maarjamäe.

An evening full of music and a variety of emotions! Orchestra conductor: Hando Põldmäe, arrangements for the brass-wind orchestra: Kristo Matson.

Doors open at 7pm. The concert consists of two parts with one interval. Catering points will be available.

Tickets 19 euros from PILETILEVI, at the door before the concert 25 euros.

Renovated in 2018, Maarjamäe Palace and its park are a real hub of culture including prize-winning exhibitions, themed and family events, concerts and much more.
